These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Banquet in a Box website (banquetinabox.co.uk) and your relationship with Banquet in a Box(Banquet in a Box, we or us). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not register for or use the Banquet in a Box Site. Please note that to use any of the services provided on the Banquet in a Box Site, you are required to register as an authorised user on the site.

 

Amendments & Changes

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any changes will be notified to you via the e-mail address provided by you on registration or via a suitable announcement on the Banquet in a Box Site. The changes will apply to the use of the Banquet in a Box Site after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the Banquet in a Box Site . If you continue to use the Banquet in a Box Site after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the Banquet in a Box Site indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.

 

Payment

We will accept payment by credit or debit card. Courier deliveries will only be despatched when we have received your payment. Our automated system will debit your card on receipt of your order. Should your order include anything out of stock on the despatch date, we will substitute a similar item of the same or greater value.  If you do not wish to receive a substitution please advise us of this in the special delivery instructions during the ordering process. 

 

Delivery

The delivery address you specify may be at home, at work, holiday cottage, or with a neighbour or relative. A delivery which is not signed for is left "at your risk", if the driver can find a reasonably secure place to leave the package. If we anticipate any difficulties concerning delivery date, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a mutually acceptable alternative. We cannot accept responsibilty for deliveries when no specific delivery instructions have been provided with your order, or if the driver cannot find a secure place to leave the package.  We cannot accept responsibility for incorrect deliveries due to incorrect postcode or address details being submitted with the order, or in instances when there is no contact number provided, or where we cannot contact you on the number provided.  In the unusual event that your order is not delivered on the delivery day requested we will provide a full refund or a replacement order, whichever you prefer.  Our courier service is wholly responsible for orders that are not delivered due to despatch driver error.

 

Guarantee

Our constant aim is to supply you with food of the highest standard. If any product fails to please you, contact us IMMEDIATELY on admin@banquet-in-a-box.co.uk. We will replace the value of the unused product, with an alternative or replacement, on your next delivery. We reserve the right to require the return of the unused product, for testing etc. In the event that your order does not arrive on the delivery date you requested we will replace your order on the next avaliable delivery date.  In the event that your order does not arrive in time for your special event, or arrives in a condition that means it is unusable we will refund your money on return of the complete unused order. 

 

Cancellation of Orders

You may cancel your order at any time up to the closing time for acceptance of orders (3pm two working days before delivery). We will refund any payment you have made, but will make a charge of 3% of the order value to cover the costs incurred by us in handling your payment/credit.

 

Personal Information

When you pay by card we are obliged to ensure that the person ordering is the cardholder. We will not pass on any details about you to any person not directly employed by us, unless required to do so by law. The exception is when we confirm security of a Credit/Charge Card transaction. Delivery information will be disclosed to a delivery or courier service, including contact telephone details.

 

Customer Support

If you require advice or have a question about your order or about our products e-mail us at admin@banquet-in-a-box.co.uk , we aim to respond to all e-mails within four working days.

 

Complaints

We hope that you never have cause to complain about our service or products. If, despite our best efforts, you do have a complaint, please email us at admin@banquet-in-a-box.co.uk giving us as much information as you can, including your full name, delivery address and the specific nature of your complaint. We will contact you to tell you what we will do to resolve your complaint within 4 working days.

 

Registration

To register with banquetinabox.co.uk you must be over eighteen years of age.

You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.

You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details.

 

Password & Security

When you register to use the Banquet in a Box Site you will be asked to create a password. You must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. You will be responsible for all activities and orders that occur or are submitted under your password. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us by contacting Customer Services at admin@banquet-in-a-box.co.uk immediately.

If Banquet in a Box has reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the Banquet in a Box Site, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.

 

Use of eCoupons

eCoupons can only be used online at www.banquetinabox.co.uk subject to these general terms and conditions, and any other specific conditions notified to you on the issue of an eCoupon.

An eCoupon is redeemed by entering its code at the appropriate point in the online purchase process. Redemption may be subject to you providing proof of entitlement to use the eCoupon.

Your use of an eCoupon indicates your agreement to be bound by these eCoupon Terms and Conditions.

Banquet in a Box reserves the right to withdraw or cancel an eCoupon for any reason at any time.

eCoupons cannot be applied retrospectively but must be redeemed at point of purchase on the online checkout system.
